About Bible Typing School
A typing tutor designed with care, built on Scripture, and focused on what matters
Why This Exists
Most typing programs use random sentences, pop culture references, or gamified challenges. Bible Typing School takes a different approach: every piece of content is drawn from Scripture, classic Christian commentary, or global missions data.
The result is a learning tool that develops real keyboarding skills while keeping the learner engaged with content that has lasting value.
Trusted Content
Scripture comes from four public-domain translations: the Berean Standard Bible (BSB), World English Bible (WEB), King James Version (KJV), and American Standard Version (ASV). Commentary is drawn from Matthew Henry, John Gill, and Adam Clarke.
Missions content features unreached people group profiles from the Joshua Project, helping learners develop awareness of the global need for the gospel.
Safe and Private
No social features, no chat, no public profiles, no ads. Bible Typing School is a private environment where learners of all ages can practice independently.
A single account can manage multiple learner profiles, making it straightforward for families and educators to track progress for each student.
How It Works
The 20-level curriculum starts with home row letter drills and progresses through the full keyboard. By Level 10, learners are typing real Bible passages and commentary excerpts.
Real-time metrics track words per minute and accuracy. Free-form practice mode lets you type any Scripture passage, commentary section, or today's unreached people group profile at any time.
